The North East Centre For Technology Application & Reach (NECTAR), an autonomous body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, is committed to transparency and fairness in fulfilling the aspirations of Indian citizens. NECTAR ensures maximum information is available on its website, aligning with the सूचना का अधिकार Act, 2005. Citizens can access this information freely or seek further details from NECTAR's CPIOs. The positions of the Central Public Information Officers (CPIOs) and the Appellate Authority (AA) are listed and regularly updated on the NECTAR website under RTI.
RTI Application
Applications, along with the prescribed fee under the RTI Act, 2005, can be submitted by post or by hand.
How to Apply
Applications can be filed and submitted online at https://rtionline.gov.in or on plain paper, typed or neatly handwritten in English, Hindi, or any official language, and submitted to the concerned CPIO at the address provided below:
Applications can also be submitted by hand or through post along with a fee of Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten only) in the name of NECTAR via Indian Postal Order, Demand Draft, or in cash with the Cashier against a proper receipt. There is no fee for individuals below the poverty line. Information can be provided at Rs. 2/- per page and Rs. 50/- for a pen drive.

First Appeal
Applicants not satisfied with the information supplied or not given within the prescribed time can appeal to the First Appellate Authority in NECTAR. The appeal must be filed within 30 days from the date the information was supposed to be received or from the date of receipt of the decision.
